Future Care Capital
Future Care Capital (FCC) is a leading independent voice which is facilitating and stimulating a national debate around health and care provision to answer the question: ‘what should a fit for purpose health and care system look like and how do we get there?’
Alongside the critical policy and advocacy work we carry out, we are always looking for opportunities to further the charity’s interests by monetising our work and investing in activities which derive positive impact for our beneficiaries. This is best exemplified by the establishment of our Innovation Fund, which invests our own and third-party capital in exciting commercial organisations for positive societal benefit and a commercial return. We believe that focused investment in digital health, assisted living, services with a high tech, high growth angle, and Class 1 medical devices can, if targeted effectively, work across traditional boundaries to deliver improved health and care outcomes.
We are now looking for three new trustees to further influence the work we are undertaking to move our strategy forward, commercialise our impact work and raise our profile. Alongside the statutory duties of a trustee role, we are keen to attract individuals looking specifically to bring their commercial focus to this innovative organisation. We are particularly keen to attract those with experience of:
- Brand management/development and strategic knowledge of increasing an organisation’s external reach across all channels
- A background in finance and risk management from a commercial perspective.
- A track record of national-level developing or influencing health and care policy.
You will be willing to speak up, remain independent of any influence from another organisation or individual, and display quick, sound judgement.
