Our client, an infrastructure organisation requires a Head of Reward to provide significant expertise to the HR Director around reward issues and must be able to effectively develop and communicate an effective remuneration strategy, policy and process to ensure human capital potential is absolutely maximized and the remuneration practice is fit for purpose in both the immediate and medium to long term. The individual will be expected to prepare papers for and attend the Remuneration Committee, which takes an active role in determining and overseeing reward policy and practice for the Company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Develop and communicate the Reward & Recognition strategy
  • Drive the reward agenda forward
  • Attend the Remuneration Committee, prepare the board papers and provide expert advice
  • Review current performance related pay processes and recommend changes
  • Translate Reward and Recognition strategy into the overall operational strategy

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience of strategy setting and policy development in a similarly organisation
  • Previous experience of sitting on a remuneration committee
  • Experience of building a reward function
  • Expert knowledge of best practice in Reward & Recognition
