As a fast growing startup, they have identified an urgent need for a Sales Director to lead the commercial side of the business. This person will be responsible sales, marketing and operations, driving growth and building the team.

Client Details

Our client is currently less than a year old and already moved offices twice to cope with the extra headcount requirements from the growth. They occupy a niche position in the lead generation market for the fit-out, renovation and refurbishment space. Currently with 10 staff, they have plans to double before the end of 2019. They are based in Farnham.


The Sales Director role at our client will wear a variety of different hats. As they have limited infrastructure in place, the ability to stamp your personality on sales, marketing, operations and more. Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  • Managing the sales team of six and recruiting further Account Managers
  • Owning the sales number and driving growth
  • Being the face of the company with clients
  • Going to meetings nationally as required
  • Help shape strategy and create marketing to deliver on it


In order to apply for this Sales Director role, candidates must be able to demonstrate a track record of significant sales success. Winning pitches, managing a high performance team, account management of significant clients and more. The following attributes would be looked upon favourably:-

  • Significant sales team management
  • Background in Inside Sales or Account Management
  • An understanding of the property / fit out / real estate sector.
  • A high level of energy and entrepreneurial spirit.

Job Offer

For successful candidates this role will pay between £50,000 and £60,000 base plus a very attractive commission structure on top.
