Job Description

The Specialty Review Programme (SRP) is a core component of our approach to driving sustainable change across the Trust. The SRP is our unique, clinically led, process to develop a five-year clinical strategy for the organisation, which is built upwards from specialty level strategic plans.

The role of the Strategic Change Lead will be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership and drive to the overall SRP programme
  • Deliver the savings identified as part of Phase 1 of the SRP, to support the Trust financial recovery plan
  • Working with the clinical divisions, deliver specific strategic change projects
  • Create a high performing team and a culture of continuous improvement

The main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the Specialty Review Programme
  • Own delivery against the financial sustainability element of the Specialty Review Programme
  • Support the Delivery of change initiatives within the organisation
  • Ensure an ongoing programme of reanalysis and rescanning for opportunities
  • Leadership, Management and Clinical Engagement

The Successful Applicant

The candidate selected for the Strategic Change Lead will have significant postgraduate qualification in relevant areas of equivalent experience. You will have significant experience in strategic leadership in large complex organisations, as well as experience of managing a team. It is imperative that you have strong communication skills, and the ability to write clear and concise reports on extremely complex financial and business issues at board level. It is important the successful applicant has a knowledge and understanding of the healthcare sector,
