This position will be based at our main office in central London, an office that works solely on providing the highest levels of service to the our NHS Trusts. You will have the benefits of being able to work in a very focused way within in a close-knit and lively team that is dedicated towards one common goal.

You will be:

  • An experienced people leader who can inspire and motivate a devise, geographic spread team
  • A thought leader who can drive processes efficiencies through the use of technology
  • Strong commercial experience
  • NHS experience desirable but if not someone who can learn the sector quickly and have a very good understanding of staff solutions and how to attract and drive up Bank Fill rates
  • UK travel essential and base location will be Grays Inn road

Job Scope:

  • Be a brand ambassador the ICS Bank Service
  • Lead and manage a multi-disciplined team across the Bank Operational Service (c11 UK NHS Trusts/clients and 180 staff)
  • Manage all aspects of the P&L
  • Support selling new Bank contracts
  • Ensure all KPIs across the Bank businesses are delivered in line with contractual commitments
  • Identify and implement improvements across the Bank Business
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team to develop quality and governance standards across the division

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and manage the Bank teams, be proactive in decision making and provide clear direction to teams
  • Responsible for ensuring the Bank delivery model remains in line with contracted commitments
  • Support new Bank business wins and ensure transition activities are smooth and seamless without exposing the customers or ICS to undue risk
  • Monitor and deliver Bank KPIs and benefits taking appropriate action where necessary to ensure their successful delivery
  • Measure and track any committed benefits which are embedded either in the new business or existing business and ensure these are aligned with the divisional Financial Director
  • Implement an effective quality process with the Shared Service Director to drive staff performance which is measured and monitored monthly

Education / Qualifications / Knowledge

  • Strategic level understanding of Operational Delivery and how to drive performance up
  • Experienced in new business wins and implementing contracts between £3-5m in value
  • P & L Numerate
  • Strong leadership and people skills
  • Operational management experience
  • Business Transformation skills
  • Negotiating skills

Skills/Training

  • ITIL or equivalent accredited - Desirable
  • Operational experience - Essential
