POSITION: BOARD DIRECTOR, UK Company THE COMPANY Our client is a UK based private limited company with operating subsidiaries in two further countries. The company has built and developed an innovative end to end business management and accounting solution. Their multi lingual easy to use solution appeals to a global customer base.
The solution empowers the management team to run and grow their business. The company secured investment over the past twelve months. It has successfully secured a contract in another country worth 210m per annum. The board plans to gain a listing of the Company's shares on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange within the next twelve months.
ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW Overall responsibility for the state of the finances of the group of companies made up of UK holding company and overseas subsidiaries.
Management of finance teams and professional service providers across the group. Build and management of internal and external stakeholder relationships. Active contribution to and influence on strategic direction of the company to drive business growth, profitability and competitive advantage. Build and development of Key Performance Indicators to measure and monitor the operating and financial performance of the business on an ongoing basis. The successful candidate will be a strong custodian of the finances, demonstrate strong leadership qualities and entrepreneurial skills with proven track record of international experience ideally within the technology industry.
REQUIREMENTS • Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong listed market experience. • Minimum of five years' experience in senior commercial management role of international business. • Experience gained ideally within global high growth business in the innovative tech industry and channel distribution business model. • Track record of managing and successfully leading a listing process. • Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills at all levels across a group. • Experience of management of diverse stakeholder relationships in an international environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES • Actively contribute as a key member of the leadership team and board to optimise the group's financial performance and strategic position. • Corporate finance and treasury management. • Build and develop Key Performance Indicators across the group. • Development of risk management and mitigation policy. • Build of effective financial and tax management policies across the group of companies. • Data analytics, business planning and forecasting and contribution to strategic decision making. • Build and management of global data room. • Financial reporting, performance analysis, business planning and financial forecasting. • Management of annual audit and build of strong relationships with auditors globally. • Leadership and management of finance team and third-party professional services to ensure robust systems and procedures and timely reporting of meaningful information to the board. • Management of local third-party payroll services across the group. • Overseeing all regional tax regulatory and compliance issues and working with local auditors and accountants. • Management and leadership of listing process. • Management of AIM reporting and compliance procedures
