Fantastic opportunity for an interim Director of Estates to lead a diverse multi-functional Estates and facilities team. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Translating strategic vision into an actionable Estates plan
  • Managing the portfolio of physical assets to meet the strategic aims of the organisation
  • Create inspiring spaces to enhance the reputation of the organisation
  • Leading a large, multi-discipline estates and facilities team

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:

  • Successful delivery of at least two previous assignments as Director of Estates which have included disposal, acquisition, development, re-location, maintenance, M&E, grounds
  • Experience negotiating significant contracts and managing business critical, third party providers
  • Proven track record of leading large, complex, multi-discipline estates and facilities team in organisations with a diverse range of needs
  • Previous experience implementing innovative sustainability strategies and initiatives
  • Experience working in both public and private sector organisations, good track record in Higher Education, NHS or hotels highly desirable
  • Proven track record of working within regulated environments
