Director of Strategy
The National Crime Agency (NCA) leads the UK’s fight to cut serious and organised crime, one of the greatest threats to our national security – blighting communities, ruining lives and costing the UK well over £24 billion every year. Organised crime can feel distant from most peoples’ day-to-day lives, but it affects us all. The desire to protect the public is fundamental to the work of the NCA and we sit at the centre of the UK law enforcement response to this complex and evolving threat.
We are recruiting a Director of Strategy who can continue to build on the NCA’s role as the lead for serious and organised crime working with key partners including police, wider government agencies, security and private sector to develop and lead the implementation of our strategy. We are at a crucial stage of change, with an exciting vision for our future. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on the implementation of strategy in a key operational agency, helping to further protect the public by improving the response to serious and organised crime.
As a member of the NCA Executive Team, and with a position on the NCA Board, you will be a senior leader who can generate ideas and deliver improvements, both working with a direct team, across the organisation with colleagues and with wider partners. You will have responsibility for ensuring the NCA is a strategic, forward-thinking Agency focussed on the right priorities to fight serious and organised crime across the UK and internationally.
In return, we can offer a dynamic, challenging and rewarding role where your contribution will make a real difference. Our ambition is to make the NCA the pinnacle of law enforcement activity. What unites and motivates our people is our dedication and commitment to protecting the public from serious and organised crime.
So if you are passionate about protecting the public, are an outstanding leader who has extensive leadership and senior management experience with excellent strategic thinking skills with a future-focused approach to continuous improvement, then please click "Apply" to find out more.
