Our client is a major vendor in the international professional AV market. They are a household brand and are backed by a hundred years of innovation and technical expertise as well as an established sales and distribution infrastructure. They are in growth mode and are continually developing new, best-in-class products that out-perform the competition as well as providing excellent value for money to customers. To support this growth and to drive sales of their interactive screens, projectors and other AV products, they now wish to hire an additional Business Development Manager for the southern UK.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for sales of professional Audio Visual products into both end-user and system integrator markets, building relationships with customers and providing technical expertise. In addition, he or she will provide support to the distributor network to ensure that they are up to speed on the latest products and understand how to position my client’s offering against the competition. The Business Development Manager will drive business creation activity and will ensure that my client’s products are specified on RFQs.
Based anywhere in London or the South East, the successful candidate will have experience of the professional AV market or similar products and will understand how to differentiate my client’s products from the competition. A track record in sales, either direct or through channel or distribution partners is required, as is a good commercial understanding. Above all we are looking for relationship builders, able to build credibility with customers.
