Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain business-aligned strategic IT product roadmaps for People
  • Proactively and regularly seek out and keep up-to-date with corporate IT strategy, policy and direction from the global IT team to ensure strategy alignment
  • Maintain regular liaison with key markets. Review, share and leverage best practices across markets wherever appropriate
  • Develop business cases and IT product cost models
  • Manage a portfolio of IT products to achieve value for People
  • Serving as an HR IT subject matter expert, advise the business on latest technology and how the business can benefit from it
  • Optimise existing investment in technology and products, retire or replace ineffective solutions
  • Keep up to date with latest HR technology trends, business models and innovations

Profile

Essential

  • Previous experience in HR technology leadership preferably from a large-scale and fast-paced global retail organisation operating franchise model
  • Experience in integrating HR systems with other systems e.g. finance systems, reporting systems, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in line management, preferably managing HR technology development and production support teams
  • Experience in managing on-site and off-shore third-party suppliers
  • Communication, presentation and relationship management
  • Financial planning and budgeting experience

Preferred

  • Exposure to digital HR technology product, cloud-based HR technology, Oracle HR, Microstrategy, PeopleStuff, Workforce Management, Reporting and Analytics (ODS) and Payroll
  • Knowledge of the IT product development life cycle
  • Understanding of latest HR technology trend and direction
