Job Description

Promote a seamless interface between operations and finance to ensure effective cost control and maximisation of profit whilst protecting customer value add

Support Operational Directors and Senior Ops Directors as required

Promote effective company standards to a minimum standard

Promote continuous improvement of company standards to add value to both customer and the business

Mentor operational and finance team members to enhance operational and finance performance and understanding

Support new start-up contracts and sites as necessary

Support new FM's as necessary

Support business development activity

Maintain control and authorisation mechanisms to ensure compliance to internal and external audit

Ensure all internal and customer reporting deadlines are met as agreed

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a commercially focussed Finance Manager with a proven track record in a similar finance leadership role, ideally with experience of warehouse operations or manufacturing.

You will be comfortable supervising site Finance Managers and promote continuous improvements offering best in class finance support to the business.

You will be hands on but also have the ability to support Directors and business partner operations teams, offering your strategic and commercial acumen. The right candidate will be able to adjust to changing circumstances or demands of the business, an agile thinker who can be reactive and deal with high levels of pressure, making critical decisions and support ad hoc information requirements & project initiatives to ensure operational effectiveness. A strong team player, you will be comfortable working with people at all levels both strategic and operationally.

Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are essential. You will be a self-starter, proactive and have a good attention to detail showing logical decision making. The role would suit a dynamic, resilient candidate who can influence others and lead from the front. You will be required to travel to regional sites across Bucks/Herts/North London on a fairly regular basis.

What's on Offer

£60,000 - £70,000 + bens
