Our Client is a Pan European food manufacturing group with a leading market share across multiple categories in the UK grocery sector. Due to a promotion they are looking outside of their own for an experienced Sales/commercial executive to lead a UK wide function.

The Role:

  • Reporting to the UK Managing Director you will have full strategic responsibility for the delivery of a broad commercial strategy across multiple categories in the UK.
  • Will lead a national team with 8 direct reports to ensure corporate targets are achieved through UK grocery and convenience channels.
  • Will work alongside customers at a senior level to ensure joint business and customer service targets are achieved and that group commercial strategy/plans are aligned across all categories and product lines.

The Requirement:

  • Degree educated you will have the gravitas and ability to lead a large multifunctional commercial team across multiple categories in the UK.
  • Will have significant exposure to the UK grocery retail market with the ability to prove you can increase profitable revenue streams across multiple accounts.
  • With excellent communication and presentation skills you will be capable of creating lasting relationships with customers at a senior level.
