As transformation takes shapes at multiple levels, we’re are looking to recruit a Chief Architect to lead and direct the alignment of the technology vision with the business strategy. This key leadership position will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the future state architecture, along with the required roadmaps that guide key investments going forward.
The Chief Architect is a key member of the Modernisation and Digital team and reports into the Director for the department. You will be working with the CEO, COO and other key stakeholders to advise on EA, recommend improvements in IS, and to drive the business and technology strategy.
You will be line manager for the Design Authority team, which consists of specialist architects, such as Business Architect, Data Architect, Security Architect and Solution Architects.
- Knowledge of public sector ICT strategies and how to select and apply COTS products, licenced software products, open source, cloud, agile.
- Knowledge of how to develop and tailor EA methodologies to meet the needs of an organisation to support holistic business change.
- Experience of leading and building architecture teams of all domains.
- Experience in developing and delivering fit for-purpose enterprise architecture within broad and complex organisations.
