Private Equity-Backed Technology Outsourcing Business – Sales Director – South London

Our Client

Mallory Partners are out to search for a new Sales Director for a private equity-backed technology outsourcing business seeking to grow organically as well as through acquisition. Our client already has an outstanding customer base and partners with industry leading technology providers and they are now seeking an experienced sales leader to improve the agility and process of their sales function.

The Role

Reporting to the CEO, the newly appointed Sales Director will have experience from the IT Managed Service / Telecommunications sector and will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of building successful sales operations which will service mid-market client base with a recurring revenue model. This is a board level role with an equity stake and the successful candidate will need to be credible with both internal and external stakeholders. They will have also had exceptional leadership experience and a proven track record of growing high performing sales teams.

Your remit will be to define and implement the go to market strategy, coach and mentor the existing sales team, recruit new hires and advise the board on acquisition strategy.

The successful candidate's list of responsibilities include:

  • Define and execute the go to market strategy and build a sales model that is scalable, repeatable and measurable.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales lifecycle; lead generation, pipeline management, reporting, forecasting, sales support, direct and channel.
  • Grow the sales team and mentor them, lead from the front and set the culture.
  • Working as part of the management team to define the strategic direction of the business and help shape the offering.
  • Hands on sales leader that leads by example, entrepreneurial, passionate.
