Our client is a highly successful European food business who manufacture a range of predominantly Private label added value frozen food products for a variety of markets. They
currently have a small number of customers in the UK but have major growth plans and are looking to appoint a Business Development Director to drive revenues across all channels.

The Role:

  • A new role reporting to the Group Managing Director you will design and deliver a business plan to grow profitable revenue streams across new and existing customers in the UK.
  • Will lead a dedicated multifunctional team and utilise group resources to ensure group and joint business plans are achieved.
  • Will operate in a true business development capacity, acting as the face of the business to proactively grow business in the UK in a hands-on role.

The Person:

  • A hands on food industry expert, comfortable operating in front of customers in a sales/ new business development capacity.
  • The ability to build, lead and mentor a high performing team as the business grows.
  • Experience of the UK food sector is essential, this role would suit an experience blue chip sales director/ controller with added value food experience, who would like to prove they can operate in a highly autonomous position to deliver results.
  • Keen to showcase your talents across all UK channels with exceptional customer facing communication and presentation skills.
