Ecommerce Delivery Manager
An Ecommerce Delivery Manager working in a highly autonomous and entrepreneurial environment, working in an ambitious and talented team.
My client is a successful SI/ERP ecommerce agency who have recently undergone a positive restructure to ensure their client delivery model is fit for purpose and focused on the best interests of the customers they serve. They are working hard to evolve their internal culture to ensure they are a fun as well as hardworking environment.
Due to a steady increase in work load over the last 12 months they are looking to add to their talented "Project" team by appointing a new Ecommerce Delivery Manager. They are based in central London and will soon be moving to new offices.
The Ecommerce Delivery Manager will be responsible for client engagement, project delivery and service delivery. You will be the point of contact for the client/customer set post replatform/rebuild and will be a constant support for any post transformation requests and work that needs doing. You will make recommendations to your customers based around work that needs doing, time scales and will also be on hand to ensure any post transformation bugs are fixed and tested by the dev teams.
As well as working closely with the development and sales teams on your customer set you will:
- Manage client backlog and deliver items prioritised by client in an ongoing sprint model
- Deliver all releases to budget and to agreed timelines
- Work with client to prioritise roadmap
- Create and communicate release schedules
There will be plenty of internal stakeholder management with this role as you will need to ensure your customer needs are met whilst still maintaining profitably and resource availability for the business.
Based in London
The successful Ecommerce Delivery Manager will have been a project manager/delivery manager in an ecommerce environment already, we are open to agency or client side. My client specialises in Magento and Salesforce so experience with these platforms is advantageous but not essential.
My client is a growing company that offers high levels of autonomy as well as opportunity, so they look for people who will make the most of this and will take the chance to really take ownership and accountability for their project/client base. You will have the freedom to make decisions and will be actively encouraged to push yourself out of your comfort zone. If you prefer to be in an environment where strategy and plans are dictated and rigidly adhered to, this is not the business for you.
Must be willing to work in London five days a week.
Salary is dependent on experience, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, free breakfast, fruit and drinks fridge on a Friday.
