Head of Business Transformation
We are currently running a Search for a Global Media company looking to appoint a Head of Business Transformation. This newly created position will help the company during a high growth phase so therefore we need someone who can deal with complexities across people, process and technology.
To further support the expansion, scale and depth of activities, the business is embarking on a major transformation agenda across operations production, client services, product development, innovation and business support functions.
This transformation is about taking a business operating at some scale on a multi-local and bespoke solution basis and standardising and professionalising the model. The business is looking to build on existing capabilities and to drive strategic development.
The aim is to harness opportunities for innovation and expansion of the product set, customer offering and internal processes and technology platforms, which will both support the planned growth and enable the business to drive the consistent, quality standards and overall economics that will be precursors of further success.
Therefore, the newly created position of a Head of Business Transformation is needed who can help direct these change efforts across and business disciplines and across the globe.
The Head of Business Transformation will:
- Manage a small strategy team that works closely with the Innovation team to identify, evaluate and prioritise key projects on client, product and process change within a consistent strategic framework
- Build and manage a distributed operations team to drive the execution of major change and implementation projects. This includes building a comprehensive PMO capability which can drive project methodology across and support to discipline and functional support teams. This will also include global process redesign, global delivery mechanisms and product launches and client implementations.
- Work closely with the newly appointed CTO and technical delivery teams to ensure the technology components of these solutions are delivered efficiently, against appropriate functional specifications and are consistent with the wider global strategy.
- Ensure the transformation agenda is properly integrated and consistent with the wider business change processes.
This role is a key Executive Board position and reports into the CEO.
