Continuous Improvement Lead to join the growing Group Continuous improvement function with a national remit within a UK transport business.

UK transport operator based across the country with HQ in London.

Description

Joining the expanding group business process excellence team, the role would be to facilitate the training and implementation of business process improvement practices across the entire Operating Company Operations, with a focus at localised level. This role would sit at a group level and be responsible for implementing group policy.

This role will work with stakeholders of all levels, coaching and developing best practice process improvement to change the way that the business operates from the ground up.

Providing operational support and direction across the creation, maintenance and coordination of new working methods, this is a hands-on position with plenty of scope for development and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of knowledge/learning materials (how to guides, training etc.)
  • Preparation and delivery of stakeholder workshops, etc.
  • Support business units in raising their internal knowledge by developing and supporting group-wide learning initiatives
  • Communicate change and training plans

Profile

Experience in Business Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement on people lead change initiatives.

Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen certification would be advantageous.

Ability to interact with multi-level stakeholders and encourage best practice.
