About Our Client

Job Description:

  • Develop/implement regional compensation policies in line with Corporate guidelines/policies
  • Analyse regional external benchmarks for the development of local market data
  • Administer annual salary review processes and provide guidance to local HR
  • Develop regional benefit programs in line with Corporate guidelines/policies
  • Interact with GFT and regional HR service to ensure implementation and communication of global compensation processes in region (Merit, IPP, APP)
  • Implement and develop region specific incentive programmes
  • Develop, implement and evaluate regional Health & Work Life measures
  • Support job family models, job evaluation/slotting as appropriate
  • Define organisational management guidelines
  • Administer expat process in region in line with corporate Global Mobility policies. Evaluate, develop and implement local pension programs/policy in line with global guidelines and local pension regulation
  • Hold functional responsibility/accountability for oversight on development and adjustment of regional pension plans and for the approval and modification of new pension schemes
  • Provide required information to the Corporate TRRM function and Pension Committee
  • Support/advise the regional and corporate pension committee
  • Provide guidance to local HR on the management of local pension plans
  • Regional interface for internal and external stakeholders on pension plan related topics
  • Coordinate regional/local expertise for all pension and retirement activities
  • Review the services of external pension advisers
  • Provide advisory support and oversight as appropriate in industrial relations matters (Regional HR Partners responsible for negotiations, CBA's etc).

A significant period of time and travel will be required for detailed onboarding at Headquarters in Cologne.

Location: Flexible - Belgium, UK, Italy or Slovakia

The Successful Applicant:

  • Experience in managing Total Reward programs in a regional environment with an understanding of complex individual country issues
  • Strong communication skills and experience of coordination and influence with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to explain, direct and guide on complex issues
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to build good relationships at all levels
  • Expert level of technical competency in the use of SAP HR and systems
