The role will take ownership for all aspects of financial control across the region (UK and two Northern European counties). This role will lead a small finance team, but be integral in leading the relationship with the shared service centre. The Regional Financial Controller and his/her team will ensure that all processes and controls are strong and constantly improved, with a highly efficient month end process, accurate budgeting and forecasting and will offer a business partnering arrangement to the wider business - seen as the 'go to' person for finance queries in the Head Office.

It is likely that the person in this role will step up to run the EMEA region within a 2 year timescale, which is a significant step up, and which will report to the US. To make this move, it is likely that (fully supported) relocation to Brussels will be required.


Candidates should be qualified accountants with experience of working at a leadership level within a large US listed business. As this role will offer a defined career path, candidates should be ambitious and keen to progress.

Job Offer

On offer is a generous package with a salary of between £70-80,000 depending on experience. There is parking on site, and the opportunity to commute by train.

This role would offer a talented Financial Controller, the opportunity to step up into a senior leadership role quickly, which is rare. The EMEA Finance Director will work closely with you, to make sure that you have all the skills, knowledge and experience to take on a more senior role. The business itself will be fully supportive of this.
