Our client is a private-equity backed, multi-billion turnover, rapidly expanding organisation. A recent refinancing exercise has provided fresh impetus to the M&A agenda, which is being developed alongside healthy organic growth of the existing business.
The increased M&A activity is intended to add between £50m and £100m of revenue growth each year, over the next three years. As a consequence, our client is looking to recruit an M&A Associate to provide further support to the business and its advisors.
The focus of this opportunity will be on M&A execution and integration, with the following priorities:
- Supporting the process for acquisition from initial concept to deal planning, price negotiation, due diligence and legal processes
- Working with third party advisors to negotiate significant JV's, including deal structuring, negotiations over corporate governance, management structure and detailed business planning to facilitate business integration and operations
- Operating as a key member of the team that reports to the Board on an annual basis on deal pipeline, international expansion plans, group funding requirements and deal pipeline
Applications are invited from degree educated M&A professionals with a background from Investment Banking, Private Equity, an in-house M&A team or Transaction Services within a Big 4 firm.
A proven track record in M&A execution, strategy and performance management is essential as is extensive International experience.
