Export Sales Manager

Up to £80,000 base salary + Bonus + Car and broad range of benefits
This is an outstanding opportunity for a high potential export sales professional to join this medium sized specialist manufacturer of technical products which are sold through the specification market and a network of specialist distributors.
Innovative product design, technical excellence, the quality and reliability of their range, together with the highest levels of service have combined to establish the business as a brand leader in their market place. With the backing of ongoing investment and determined leadership, the company has significant plans to further grow its presence throughout the European, US and International market place. The Germanic countries are a major market for them. Your role will be to spearhead the sales drive, managing a small key account team, directing the distribution network, engaging directly with designers and specification engineers and contributing to the company marketing strategy. Importantly, the role will also involve personal responsibility for the German legal entity.
Qualified in an engineering discipline, you will have a demonstrable track record in export sales management with a successful career selling technical engineered products for a leading manufacturer.
A natural and proactive leader, you will have in depth understanding of the specification market with clear credibility in managing relationships with distributors. Self-directed and highly motivated with excellent communications skills, you will have the stature and commercial acumen essential to command respect in this challenging role. German language skills are essential.
