There is a new vacancy for a Financial Strategy Manager, based in their London office, you will work as part of the Group Finance team. 

You’ll report to the Director of Financial Strategy and have the responsibility for assisting in managing market and competitor analysis and related strategic planning whilst working closely with Group Executives, Corporate Development, Investor Relations and Finance. This will include developing a strong understanding of the sector, business and the competitor landscape to be able to advise accordingly. You will also be heavily involved with financial due diligence and mergers and acquisition opportunities.

We are looking for a qualified ACA (or equivalent) with post-qualified experience gained within Transaction Advisory Services/Financial modelling and/or Mergers & Acquisitions. A strategic thinker, who has experience with business valuation methodologies in investment banking, commercial banking, venture capital, financial research or experience in a corporate finance role. You will enjoy working with complex data and have strong analytical skills and be fluent in analysing and interpreting financial information e.g. annual reports, financial disclosures, broker notes, etc. and will have a keen eye for detail. You’ll be a very effective communicator, who has a track record of analysing and translating data into meaningful narrative. 

As well as being an autonomous self-starter you will also be a strong communicator and negotiator who can influence at all levels up to and including senior management. You will be agile in your thinking and able to cope with a challenging, fast paced change environment. Someone who is highly results-focused with an analytical mind who possess high commercial acumen would be the right fit for this position. You’ll be proactive, organised and able to effectively prioritise multiple tasks while demonstrating an awareness of risk and appropriate mitigation strategies. As a senior leader you will be comfortable in role modelling the Group values and holding people to account – being open and responsive to feedback.
