  • Deliver and maintain a sales pipeline sustainable growth over the next 3–5 years
  • Work closely with the Healthcare segment executive team and with Site Directors
  • Deliver sales and financial targets across new and retained business
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from bid to close, with close involvement in negotiation of contracts
  • Ensure and reinforce positive customer experience
  • Plan ahead to address existing and future requirements of clients, tactically and strategically
  • Ensure retention of existing clients through active relationship management
  • Collaborate with colleagues on additional offerings and retention
  • Exceed client expectations and create competitive advantage
  • Establish and lead a highly capable team to deliver strategic growth objectives
  • Foster an inclusive team culture using the “Committed to You” framework and IIP principles
  • Hold others accountable for performance
  • Develop and maintain a client relationship plan for the sales team


  • Demonstrate understanding of the Healthcare market and knowledge of competitor activities
  • Sound knowledge of the NHS, and its tendering and commissioning procedures
  • Be innovative, with the ability to develop and maintain robust service solutions
  • Led and developed successful sales and business development strategies in Healthcare/NHS markets
  • Leader in a high-performance professional environment where the best is expected and given and where mutual trust and respect are essential
  • Outstanding communication, influencing and facilitation skills
  • Experience of outsourced B2B sales and end-to-end bid process management, from bid to close
  • Prior executive responsibility in group structures and highly adept at matrix management
  • Demonstrable capability and experience in ‘solution sales’
  • Ability to form exceptional, trusting and ongoing relationships with key clients
  • Highly collaborative multi-tasker that can catalyse excellence in others
  • Drive and personal credibility, combined with imagination, resilience and intellect
  • Flexible, understanding and accommodating – always able to find a route through
  • Creative and innovative, but with the discipline and rigour to ensure completion
