A leading manufacturer is looking for an Operations Manager. Leadership capability and style is integral in delivering results in this fast paced environment.
Your principle accountabilities for the role will be supporting the general manager for the site on delivering highly demanding service and quality levels, ensuring profitability of the business unit. Beyond this you will be required, through various stakeholders and team members in the business for improving efficiency, driving down operational costs and meeting day to day KPIs. The business has also identified the need to deliver staged improvement in efficiency through TPM which will need implementation from scratch and is expected that the successful candidate will have experience in delivering a similar project as part of a wider business strategy.
To be considered for the role of Operations Manager you will need to be able to demonstrate the following competencies and skills:
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline such as engineering, supply chain, business etc
- Considerable experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment such as cosmetics, food, consumer goods etc
- Tangible evidence of delivering improvement to business metrics/KPIs through lean tools and techniques
- Excellent communications and leadership capability
