Management Information (MI) and Contract Analyst
Management Information and Contract Analysis role within High Profile Transport Programme
£30,000 - £40,000 + Bonus + Excellent Bens
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of the UK’s most prestigious and innovative transport engineering programmes. My client is delivering a world-class fleet of trains and maintenance services for the UK rail industry that will provide unbeatable performance, reliability and value for money. They now require a Performance Analyst who will act as a key interface between my client, their customer and a variety of service delivery partners.
The Performance Analyst will be responsible for gathering and interpreting data from a wide range of sources with the objective of ensuring that agreed contractual arrangements and milestones are being adhered to. He or she will work with both internal and external stakeholders to initially develop the data gathering mechanism and then analyse and interpret the data to identify any trends or areas of concern. The Performance Analyst will act as a focal point for a great deal of information and as such will need excellent communication skills as well as analytical ability. Although Doncaster-based, this is not a deskbound role and will require regular travel to London and other client sites across the UK.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical and numeracy skills and effective interpersonal skills. Likely to be of a graduate level of education, he or she will have experience of gathering and interpreting data from a variety of sources. It is not necessary to have a background in the rail industry so much as the ability to understand how and where data is captured and to be able to understand how that data relates to a contract. Applicants need to be inquisitive, organised and very much a self-starter, able to influence and challenge others and build relationships across a complex group of stakeholders. Above all else we are looking for a team player who really wants to be a part of prestigious, high profile programme.
