The Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (“CICA”) is responsible for administering the Criminal Injuries Compensation Schemes in England, Wales and Scotland in accordance with rules that are set by Parliament. CICA make payments, on behalf of the Government, to people who have been victims of violent crime.

CICA is looking for a talented, resilient and inspirational individual to lead its complex and sensitive frontline service in Glasgow. Personally responsible for safeguarding the public funds and for ensuring propriety and regularity in the handling of those public funds, you will also be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of CICA and for continuing CICA’s drive to digitialise and enhance the way victims of violent crime apply for and access compensation payments.

Candidates will have a track record of transformative leadership experience in customer-focused operations. You will have strong strategic skills, the ability to build effective teams and create a positive culture.
