This role has full accountability for running all aspects of commercial finance, ensuring robust processes and controls and driving the commercial and strategic framework. Reporting directly to the CFO and with significant exposure to the senior leadership team, key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a strong business partner, supporting commercial and operational decision-making across the organisation and driving value
  • Managing and overseeing all management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and planning processes, providing full analysis and insight of key business drivers
  • Delivering improved management information (including preparing enhanced weekly reporting and board packs) developing new reports and models as appropriate
  • Analysing new and existing business initiatives, challenging assumptions and highlighting any risks and opportunities
  • Ensuring appropriate structures are in place to service the business, maintain tight control, drive continuous improvement, best practice and efficiencies
  • Leading and developing a team

The successful candidate will be a hands on qualified accountant with proven business partnering experience and exceptionally strong commercial expertise. Prior exposure to owning and driving improvements across an FP&A function will be essential, including a detailed knowledge of P&L, cash flow and capex metrics. Previous experience of working within an international environment and running complex group and multi-currency consolidations would be highly advantageous.

With outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to interact with and develop working relationships internally, externally and cross-functionally. You will have the credibility and gravitas to challenge current thinking and influence in a positive and constructive manner. With demonstrable drive and enthusiasm, you will thrive in a robust, change-oriented and fast-paced environment.
