- As part of the senior management team, take a leading role in the programme which will create one face for the customer across several distribution centres which will become one under the partnership with the 3PL.
- Ensure that the transfer of all products to the main distribution centre progresses smoothly and without impact to customers by working closely with the 3PL and putting best practice in place to give firm foundation to this new way of working.
- Take the Customer Service function forward in collaboration with the planning and commercial teams in order to create a more agile and proactive service delivery unit which customers actively collaborate with to enjoy mutual benefit.
- Lead warehousing and transport through the change programme in order to realise the efficiencies possible through the partnership with the 3PL.
You are a graduate and an experienced Supply Chain/Logistics professional who has experience and a real interest in creating close customer service relationships through a desire to partner and collaborate. Your experience encompasses everything from Order to Cash, S&OP and forecast to fulfil. As an experienced leader, you will have successfully delivered within change and transformation programmes in order to improve operational efficiencies. It is likely that you come from FMCG, Retail or 3PL/4PL environments of scale which distributes at least UK wide. You will be a highly strategic and commercial individual who has a track record of identifying better ways of working with both customers and suppliers and creating successful strategic proposals. The successful person will be based mainly in the Midlands with sometime in the South East in order to operate effectively in this role. You are very ambitious about what can be achieved with this new role for both the company and its customers.
