Action on Hearing Loss is the trading name of the Royal National Institute for Deaf People. We are the largest charity in the UK working with and for people who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus. Through our ground-breaking biomedical research, high-quality service delivery, search for better technology and tenacious and effective campaigning we have the ability to transform the lives of people who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus.

To help us deliver our new and ambitious five year strategy, Transforming Lives, we are now seeking to recruit a high calibre Executive Director to help us continue to drive change and ensure the organisation’s internal support and partnering functions which include financial strategy, financial performance management, HR, OD, Property, and Legal and Property are best of class. As a key member of the Executive Group you will contribute collectively to our on-going strategy development and delivery as well as having overall governance oversight as Company Secretary for the charity and its commercial subsidiaries.

To be successful you will be passionate about making a difference and will have operated effectively within a large complex organisation at both the strategic and operational levels. In addition to being financially qualified, you will have significant experience of driving change and building, motivating and inspiring teams. 

You will be a natural team player, a superb communicator and a successful corporate leader who will relish the opportunity of enabling us to continue our journey.
