Project Management Technical Lead - Contact Center and Salesforce

McLean, VA

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide Project Management support for large, strategic, cross-functional projects. These projects necessitate full time commitment and are not undertaken by incumbents whose primary role is elsewhere. Strong quantitative, analytic and project management skills are also required. The focus of this position will be on implementing initiatives that result in Customer experience improvements and efficiency gains. The types of initiatives this position will support are command center, contact center technology and SALESFORCE. The incumbent will be required to provide administrative support in creating and updating project plans and dashboard, complete the required tasks in PM Portal, coordinate meetings, and manage process or technology work-steams in support of a larger Program. The position will require the Project Management Tech Lead to interface with the Project Manager Sr. Tech lead, vendors, IT, business partners, and stakeholders. Contact Center technology and SALESFORCE initiatives generally require the Project Manager to perform both the Business Analyst and Project Manager roles. The work is challenging, complex and strategic, and requires an experienced professional who can assist in driving execution and lead projects that are multi-faceted in nature, including technology and process improvement.


  • Reporting status of project work streams
  • Managing risk and mitigation of work stream specific issues
  • Developing business requirements
  • Developing project plans and keeping up with tasks in PM Portal
  • Establishing and assuring adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
  • Leading key contributors to complete tasks and assisting with the removal of any barriers to prevent the project from getting off track
  • Assisting the Program Manager and Program Director with any other project responsibilities
  • Operating with a high-level of autonomy


  • 5 - 7 years of related Project Management work experience in the primary mortgage market or technology field
  • General knowledge of the primary mortgage market with practices, policy and regulations ranging from mortgage origination through servicing/default
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong attention to detail and robust analytical skills
  • Superior oral and written communications skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across a broad range of organizational levels
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project
  • Proven track record delivering large projects with a budget of $1MM and up
  • Demonstrated business acumen, problem solving skills, intellectual maturity, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently and take direction from the Project Manager Sr. Tech Lead
  • Knowledge of Contact Center Technology and Salesforce capabilities
  • Project Management experience in implementing contact center technology solutions


  • Working knowledge of the Strategic Delivery PM Portal and processes
  • General knowledge of the Loan Advisor Suite applications
  • Ability to work effectively with continuous change and short deadlines
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
