UK Sales Manager
Our client is a significant sales division within a major multinational manufacturer and leader in the fire systems products and solutions marketplace. Well-resourced and supported by innovative new product development, its routes to market include wholesale and system integrator channels together with networking and key relationship building through architects specifiers and contractors.
Reporting to the Sales Director you will lead and develop a specialist team of regional sales managers and focus on delivering the annual profit plan of the fire product line. You will also support the UK national account team in developing the commercial relationships with key wholesalers.
This is a UK wide role with an experienced team in place and there is significant potential for growth. The opportunity is to work from a home based office but given that the head office for this business unit is in the South West and the Groups HQ is along the M4, it is logical that the appointed candidate lives ideally along the M4/M5 corridors.
You will form part of the senior leadership team and important elements of the role include coaching and mentoring your team whilst ensuring that all sales KPIs are achieved.
A high calibre individual with the gravitas and experience to lead a specialist established senior team such as this is essential and you will be looking for a long-term career opportunity in a multinational group.
You are likely to be graduate qualified with an impressive career to date through sales and into sales management and now be ready to take on a national role. You will ideally come with a strong working knowledge of the fire industry and fire systems marketplace. You will be an accomplished sales professional, comfortable working in a large group and be able to offer proof of success in achieving your sales plans. Other sector experience of potential interest beyond fire products could include security systems and access control.
