Chief Executive, Bristol

Established in 1994 and with a head office in Bristol, Brandon Trust is a charity supporting around 1,600 adults and children with learning disabilities and autism across southern England, the Midlands and London. We believe that all people with learning disabilities should be able to live a life of freedom with fewer limitations. We work with people who can inspire and enable those we support so they can reach for their dreams and be all they can be.

We employ around 2,000 staff across all of our services and provide individualised support that is genuinely life-enhancing. It ranges from a few hours of enabling support a week, through to life-long residential care for people with complex needs. Much of our work sits within the 'supported living' model; a highly person-centred approach which sees people live in their own homes. Our commitment to developing innovative, high quality services is reflected in our excellent CQC ratings.

We also run a number of innovative community projects that offer people a chance to learn new skills, be creative and productive and importantly, to have the opportunity to undertake paid work or volunteering.

The Board of Trustees is now recruiting a Chief Executive to ensure effective governance, strategy, leadership and management, excellent business growth, health and sustainability and improve the profile and position of the organisation on the national stage.

The ideal candidate will have significant and proven strategic leadership experience gained through several years in senior management positions in demanding environments, experience of leading, representing and championing a large complex organisation and an excellent track record of achieving financial and quality targets.

You will be passionate about the cause and able to inspire, involve and motivate people at all levels to achieve our vision. You will be driven by the values of Brandon Trust and able, through your own high levels of personal integrity, to lead those values across the organisation. You will be commercially and financially astute, with experience in managing complex budgets.
