My client, a privately owned, global IT and technology business based in the City, is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Head of Finance and FP&A to set up and implement new systems. This is an excellent role with a lot of scope for growth and the ideal candidate will have previous experience setting up an FP&A team. The business and team are growing and therefore candidates need to be adaptive and flexible. There is potential for a temp-to-perm position if desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up FP&A reporting systems and working with the commercial team
  • Work with the Financial Modeller to implement financial modelling processes 
  • Setting KPI metrics
  • Deliver in depth and high-quality analysis to drive the business forward
  • Understand and accurately represent key drivers
  • Work with a team based in the UK and overseas
  • Ad hoc project work, analysis and modelling for the Head of Finance and CFO

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant - CIMA desirable
  • Significant PQE desirable
  • Commercially minded
  • Approachable and able to communicate with the rest of the team
  • System used is Oracle - experience desirable not essential
  • Flexible work ethic with ability to pick up ad hoc projects when needed
  • Demonstrable track record of adding commercial value to the business
  • Previous experience setting up systems / systems experience required
