The Organisation

Our client, a major offshore law firm with international presence and an engrained high profile reputation, is looking for an exceptional HR professional to join their team as a Senior HR Business Partner. Working closely with the Global Head of HR, you will be given the opportunity to help develop and implement the global people strategy of the business across its 6 different offices and 500 employees. The Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with, and co-ordinate, the HR Business Partners in order to support key stakeholders and ensure that a consistent approach to HR policy is maintained globally
  • Take a leading role in the development and implementation of the career development programme across the business
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business and practice group heads
  • Work closely with the Global Head of HR on a number of strategic initiatives and take a lead role on driving these forward
  • Leading and coaching managers to address and manage employee relations
  • Take responsibility for the continual review of HR policies ensuring that up to date employment law and best practice is integrated when necessary

The Person

You will possess the following key characteristics:

  • A professional qualified member of the CIPD
  • Strong management experience at the HR Business Partner level, preferably with a global / international law firm
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing forward thinking HR strategies in relation to performance management, talent management, and employee engagement
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Ideally, experience of supporting a business through a period of change and / or transformation
