Finance Business Partner
We are currently recruiting for Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust, who is in need of an inquisitive and dynamic Finance Business Partner for their Integration and Transformation Programme. The Trust, based in Central London, provides both specialist and general healthcare to UK and a large percentage of international patients.
The Trust, which is formed of two recently-merged Hospitals, has undergone significant change in the last twelve months. The aim of the Integration and Transformation Programme is to create a sustainable Trust within five years and will focus on a number of different areas, most notably the savings programmes. The Finance Business Partner will be supporting these transformational changes in a project-driven divisional area and will act as an ‘Internal Consultant’ who will run alongside Central Finance and identify gaps and ideas which may have been missed. You will be reporting into two Deputy Directors of the Trust.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing financial leadership for the divisional area, ensuring effective use of financial resource
- Supporting the delivery of various projects within the work streams including leading on the development of plans, reviewing specifications, timelines and confirming resource plans and budget
- Working closely with Senior Stakeholders to enable the benefits to be realised over the course of the projects and programmes
- Contributing specialist technical accounting and business knowledge and strong analytical skills
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a role which will combine both your financial and accounting expertise, but also your interest in projects. You will be a CCAB Qualified Accountant with significant experience in financial management and business partnering. The role requires someone who has experience within the Healthcare sector; whether that be from working within the NHS, healthcare consultancy or public sector bodies related to Healthcare. You will be able to think outside of the box, use your initiative and have the courage to be able to pitch numbers to Board Level Stakeholders. You will be able to handle complex budget holding and manage change within a divisional area. The successful candidate should also have excellent negotiation skills and will be able to handle difficult discussions with senior stakeholders.
