Woodkirk Academy is a school of 1850 students on roll, including more than 300 sixth formers and a staff of 124 teachers, plus 101 support staff.  Woodkirk is set in its own extensive grounds and has the staffing, facilities and courses available to educate students to university entrance level.

We aim to create a balance between the various academic, intellectual, spiritual, cultural, social, community, musical, athletic and career demands on young people.  We have splendid traditions in music, performing arts, drama, theatre, games, physical education and community involvement.
