Job Details

Bedfordshire business is looking to appoint a strong interim Finance Director to assist them with during another positive period of growth.

Reporting into the Managing Director, the Interim Finance Director will be responsible for delivering and leading the Finance function.

Key responsibilities will be:

  • You will need to ensure all shareholder/investor assets are safeguarded in a robust control environment, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee the management of the day to day finance activities performed by the team, to include all month end processes, periodic forecasting and reporting, AP/AR, and all cash management, control procedures
  • Manage all all external relationships with banks, auditors and tax advisors.

The successful Candidate will be a Professionally Qualified Accountant with solid experience working within a number or organisations as an interim Finance Director. It would be highly beneficial to have worked within a number of SME companies, have the ability to prove your experience of driving SME business growth within a Finance Director position. You will need to be comfortable operating with multiple revenue streams, have the ability to appreciate, assess and articulate risk areas that exist in the market including regulatory changes, intense competitor activity and an evolving market.
