The Head of Programme Risk, alongside the Head of Transformation Risk, will support the Director of Transformation Risk in overseeing the programme design and delivery risks and delivery of the Assurance plan and required reporting to key stakeholders, the different Boards and Risk Committees and the UK regulators. The team reports directly into the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer and with this unique position, is highly visible and recognised as a key advisor to the business, ensuring that staff, shareholders and policyholders' interests are safeguarded. The variety of programmes the team oversee is second to none, form major outsourcing programmes to digitalisation of our distribution or the development of an entirely new platform business. The ideal Proramme Manager will have the following knowledge; SME knowledge of effective Operational Risk management, frameworks and oversight Detailed knowledge of Risk Mitigating Techniques and Internal Controls Detailed knowledge of risk data aggregation and forward looking analysis Detailed knowledge of life and pensions products, markets and competitors Detailed knowledge of financial services regulatory and legislative frameworks Detailed knowledge of Prudential products, systems and distribution methods Understanding of the Statements of Principle and Code of Practice Awareness of Group and external developments and ability to identify, recommend and implement improvements to processes and policies in line with these Detailed knowledge of systems of governance and Risk Culture The following experience is required; Experience of operational risk management in major change / transformation programme (e.g. RAID, business readiness) Demonstrated ability to connect transformation delivery with operational risk in the 'live/bau' environment Experience of platform business and/or wealth management Significant experience of presenting alternative positions; to identify and make links between similar situations, and across the function and business Significant experience of managing complex internal and external relationships at a senior level Significant experience of board and executive level reporting Significant experience of taking problems and quickly generating practical solutions Significant experience of influencing and negotiation at all levels of the organisation, including internal and external escalation Significant experience with MI data creation, reporting and interpretation Experience in deciphering the bigger picture and disseminating information into tangible outcomes and actions Experience of identifying and anticipating potential concerns for key stakeholders and using multiple strategies and methods to gain support for change Experience of leading a large scale functional transformation programme in a complex, highly regulated Environment Experience of managing politically sensitive issues / initiatives Experience of Programme and Project management, preferably within a Risk environment Experience reviewing Business Case documents within a Risk and Financial Services regulatory environment Allegis Group Limited operates as an Employment Business and Employment Agency as set out in the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003.
