This market leading, tech enabled, specialist security services provider (ranked in the Sunday Times Top 100 companies) is embarking on a Management Buy Out for the first time.

The business has been growing annually at 15-20% for the last three years and is the dominant player in its specialist market. What's more the market it services is also growing at approximately 20% yr. on yr.

As the business embarks on its next stage of growth, with the support of Private Equity, the Founder CEO is looking to complement his existing team with the appointment of a Chief Commercial Officer.

This is a new board role and it will have responsibility for sales, marketing, JV relationships, product & pricing.

Key deliverables include: 

  • Develop and implement a 3 year commercial strategy, agreeing with the board the commercial targets
  • Responsible for all sales activity and management of the sector diverse sales team. 
  • This position will look to evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data in order to implement a sales and marketing plan that will drive organic sales growth and achieve consistent, strong KPI's. 
  • Deliver improved market share and increased revenues in the Healthcare, Retail and Energy sectors. 
  • Implement and deliver a sound CRM strategy that can improve customer retention and acquire new customers that can significantly increase sales growth. 
  • Transform marketing into content orientated digital approach which drives web traffic organically rather than relying solely on PPC 
  • Lead the commercial department in the development of new commercial partnerships
  • Review customer and supplier contracts and making recommendations on pricing and  commerciality
  • Lead the sales & marketing due diligence on future acquisitions and deliver subsequent integrations
  • Identifying profitable commercial opportunities to grow revenue in new markets

Experience required:

  • Proven background in marketing, sales & pricing in B2B 
  • exposure to International markets  
  • Ideally you've done this once before in a PE-backed environment
  • Track record of building and driving a high performance culture
  • Strategic whilst being innovative and hands on
