Client Details

The Marketing Manager will head up the marketing function for an established B2B organisation selling through the distributor channel. This B2B trade organisation have a strong name in the industry and will be moving to state of the art purpose built premises where they will be able to demonstrate innovation and provide fantastic opportunities for their distributors to demonstrate the product offering. The role will provide development and progression opportunity to director level. They only operate in the trade sales channel so relationships are critical. The Marketing Manager role will be based at the head office in Aldershot.

Description

The Marketing Manager will head up the marketing function developing and implementing the marketing strategy too and the through the distribution network, key responsibilities include:

  • Create fully integrated product launch campaigns incorporating events, collateral, PR, digital marketing etc.
  • Develop the event calender including trade shows, exhibitions and client events
  • work closely with the sales teams creating bespoke collateral and presentations
  • Create printed collateral and digital versions to demonstrate product ranges
  • React to market changes and competitor activity
  • Website management and development, ensure all products are visible and customer journey is maximised and content enrichment
  • Brand guardianship, ensure consistency of message across all channels
  • Development of an omnichannel approach with all market communications
  • PR strategy development
  • Management and leadership of the marketing function - PR Manager, Project Manager, Marketing Executives and assistants

Profile

To be right for the Marketing Manager role you have a track record in B2B trade marketing. You will come from a distributor or business selling through a distributor channel. You will have experience managing a team, developing the marketing strategy coming up with creative ideas and developing new promotions. you will be a hands on marketer leading from the front and be comfortable leading exhibitions and supporting sales teams.
