Interim CIO

A leading organisation in Cambridgeshire are seeking to recruit an experienced CIO on an interim basis.

Due to an internal promotion, and whilst seeking a permanent appointment, this role will be key to maintaining high quality provision and service for IT/digital across a complex organisation.

This will include:

• Strategic guidance and development for IT/Digital across a multi-site organisation
• Provide leadership across large complex technical teams
• Provide support to group on risk, security, IT audit and governance
• Develop and ongoing and high value range of programmes and projects
• Strict budgetary and forecasting management as well as group IT reporting
• Leading views on investment and development or digital and IT tech

We are looking for an experienced CIO/CTO available immediately on a PAYE contract basis.

The following skills/experience would be desirable:

• Significant leadership experience across a complex IT estate
• Ideally experience in clinical, medical research or NHS related sectors
• Board level experience in a rapidly changing environment
• Significant hands on experience in IT Management and strategy
• Proven leadership skills with large and diverse teams

This is an ongoing contract for at least 6 months. The organisation operate within IR35 for this post, so are looking to pay on a PAYE day rate basis.
