Job Details
My client is an international pharmaceutical group. Due to organic growth, the group are looking to hire a Head of Financial Reporting, to report directly to the CFO. This is a new role that the CFO anticipates will naturally evolve into the Group FC within 2 years, and after that, the group FD. First and foremost, candidates applying to this role must have strong technical accounting skills as well as experience building processes from scratch given the company's high growth rate.
Job Title: Head of Financial Reporting
Location: Central London, West End
Package: £80k - £95k + Bonus & Benefits
Qualification Type: Full ACA
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the transition of technical accounting processes from auditors to in house
- Indirect management of the group's US based SOX consultant
- Build transition to US GAAP within 3 years
- Ensuring the US entity is IFRS compliant
- Designing and implementing a new accounting system
- Direct management of a Financial Accountant
- Involvement in equity raising as well as exposure to F1 and F2
- Play a key role in M&A as well as Due Diligence as the group expands further

About you:
- Fully ACA qualified with significant post qualified experience
- Experience working in or auditing PLCs
- Strong IFRS skills
- SOX experience is preferable, whilst not essential
- Fundamental to this role is having a 'can-do' mindset, as well as having experience building processes from scratch.
