Due to growth, my client has a vacancy for an experienced Business Development Manager (Power) to join their business. This role is responsible for winning large value projects direct with Power Utility companies and through contractors / system integrators / channel partners in UKI and internationally.

My client is a multi-national organisation which produces products and solutions for Power Utility companies.

Description

Due to growth, my client has a vacancy for an experienced Business Development Manager (Power) to join their business. This role is responsible for winning large value projects direct with Power Utility companies and through contractors / system integrators / channel partners in UKI and internationally.

Profile

The successful Business Development Manager (Power) will have the following demonstrable skills:

  • Proven track record developing sales opportunities and marketing technical products or services to new and existing customers
  • Strong application engineering background
  • Experience producing commercial and technical proposals
  • Background in Power Utility automation, involved any of the following: SCADA, Protection, Substation Automation, Smart Grid Solutions, Distribution Automation, Renewable Energy or Communications would be highly desirable
  • Electrical engineering degree or related would be desired
  • Able to identify and cultivate long-term business relationships
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Ability to work independently and effectively to accomplish results
  • Please note this role can be based in either Dublin or North East England location

Job Offer

Up to £65k basic salary DOE + annual bonus, pension, flexible pension
