Our client, a multinational logistics organisation, is looking to recruit a Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With a global footprint, they are transforming the way big data is used within their organisation. Having embarked on a journey of Change & Transformation recently, this role will sit across the UK and European operating companies. This is an opportunity to develop a technology strategy that will transform the way the business interacts with their customers across the globe, achieving and delivering huge growth for the Group.

The Group CTO will be responsible for designing and developing the big data strategy, working with each operating business to bring synergies across the use of technology. With a strong background in building Enterprise Architecture and Data Strategy capabilities within the UK and Europe, you will be responsible for influencing Key Stakeholders across the Group to join the journey of change.

You will provide strategic technology leadership across the group, leading a capability assessment to create a blueprint of the enterprise architecture for the group wide application, infrastructure and data strategy. The successful Group CTO will work with counterparts across Europe, actively building trust and strong relationships to ensure the adoption of new solutions and technical initiatives.

A proven track record of managing change and technology is key, along with the development of Big data strategies. You will be a strong leader and have the ability to influence a number of Stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds to help drive the transformation.
