Our client is a very well-known car manufacturing group producing high-class, prestigious vehicles for the worldwide market and receiving outstanding results. The positioning of the brand is at the top-end of the premium segment. The financial services subsidiary specializes in providing a full package of financial services in selected markets all over the world. This involves leasing contracts, financing and insurance packages as well as credit cards. The vision is to strengthen profitability and to further grow in international markets. The launch of new products, which is now being introduced successively to international markets, will lend additional impetus to the business.
The General Manager/Director Australia has full P&L responsibility for supervising and managing the financial services business including all operational aspects; achieving the quantitative and qualitative targets of the group. He/she has to manage (amongst others) all operations with the service provider to maintain adequate service levels. He/She will be responsible for preparation and controlling of the budgets within the regular Long Range Planning and Forecasting process.
Relating to Sales and Marketing, he will be responsible for all activities with regard to development and launch of financial services products, roll out of activities, developing special financial services initiatives as well as supporting and training of retail organization regarding financial services products.
Our client is looking for a graduate, qualified MBA with significant finance industry experience with a concentration in sales/business development and captive finance operations (credit, collections, customer service, remarketing, and dealer finance), local working experience in Australia region is preferred. An ability to effectively work with importer personnel, dealers, and outside vendors/service providers is essential. He/She must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English language; additional language skills are preferable, proficiency with MS Office applications required. Must have in-depth product knowledge of relevant financial services products.
