Our client is a well established FTSE100 Group employing over 20,000 people across every continent.
This newly created position of Financial Planning & Analysis Manager is based at the Plc head office in central London, reporting to the FP&A Director as part of a team of 4. The Director reports to the Group CFO and this role will enjoy regular direct exposure to the Main Board.
Main responsibilities of the role will include the review of divisional performance, preparation of competitor and industry research and analysis, annual strategic planning and scenario planning and the review of major Capex including briefing paper to the Group CEO and CFO. In addition, there will be regular Group M&A projects requiring high quality research and financial analysis on the target and other ad hoc projects and analysis for the CFO.
Applicants must have an outstanding academic background as well as an ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification or MBA. Strong analytical skills are essential, ideally gained from creating and reviewing business cases, and a record of delivering business performance improvement is desirable. Excellent communication skills and influencing skills are imperative, along with self-motivation, high levels of ambition and flexibility with international travel.
