My client is a global, market-leading, professional services firm who is looking to recruit experienced Managers and Senior Managers across a range of industry sectors. The team work with a mixture of large and mid-tier corporates and private equity clients in two main areas; evaluating propositions and assisting clients in developing new strategies. Managers work in both areas, working closely with the practice Directors and Partners.

The structure of a typical project team is up to three associates, a manager, a senior manager or director and a partner. All managers are responsible for day-to-day management of projects and associates and will have some contact with the client, but Senior Managers are mainly responsible for client contact. Senior Managers also have additional business development responsibilities. Sector expertise at Senior Manager level is desirable but not a pre-requisite.

Successful candidates will have a strong academic background, hold a degree and have demonstrated extra-curricular achievements. They will also possess strong commercial acumen and a keen understanding of corporate strategy and how it drives a business. Previous strategy consulting experience in a recognised firm is a must, as are top-notch quantitative and analytical skills. A track record of successfully managing projects is required, involving driving analysis and structuring a presentation and coaching more junior team members.

Commercial due diligence experience or exposure to the deals environment is desirable but not necessary. Fluency in an additional European language to English would be a plus as would an MBA. Whilst the role is based in London, my client’s work is global in nature and as such candidates should expect to spend 10-20% of their time on client sites, typically across Europe, versus the majority of their time in the Central London office.

Manager roles pay £65,000-82,000 plus £8K car allowance and bonus, and Senior Manager roles pay £87,000-105,000 plus £10K car allowance and bonus.
