Our client, a leading not for profit organisation, of roughly £200 million income require a change orientated interim Financial Controller for a period of 15 months to provide stability during a maternity leave.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the man management of over 30 staff including the transactional processing, financial reporting, statutory accounting and management accounting functions. In addition the organisation is entering into a period of change so the Financial Controller will be vital to embed a new culture, oversee a shift to finance business partnering, oversee the introduction of a new financial system and help design a new fit for purpose finance function.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate working in a change environment or guiding a large team through a period of change, will have managed the full financial control function and will have overseen a system implementation.

Experience of SORP accounting, international reporting structures and a distributed management structure while not vital would be extremely beneficial. Applications will only be considered if they can demonstrate operational experience of working as a Financial Controller and while sector is not important the ability to manage a large change agenda will also be vital.
