Services range from complex IT due diligence, post-merger integration, carve out/separation, post deal value enhancement through to corporate restructuring. The teams deliver buy side and sell side engagements for corporate firms and private equity houses across the transaction life-cycle.

Your responsibilities as an Assistant Director will include:

  • Selling, leading and delivering large, complex IT due-diligence, IT carve-outs, post-merger integration and corporate restructuring solutions
  • Addressing complex technical points with senior client staff and managing key relationships and expectations
  • Drawing on extensive knowledge and experience across all aspects of IT in business, providing insightful, deal-relevant points of view and recommendations
  • Delivering and reviewing high-quality, risk-managed reports in various formats
  • Frequently interfacing with senior external and internal stakeholders
  • Leading and managing internal practice development effort including the development of tools, accelerators, methodologies and market propositions
  • Taking ownership for Quality and Risk Management (Q&RM)

Qualifications/skills you’ll need as an Assistant Director:

  • Extensive experience of corporate transactions, ideally in performing of IT Due Diligence and/or IT post merger integration and separation/carve-out assignments
  • Extensive experience in IT advisory and consulting within professional services

The following should be considered as 'must have' attributes:

  • Ability to provide insights on IT aspects of transaction deals
  • Deep knowledge and experience in one or more core aspects of a typical IT environment
  • Business development skills with demonstrable sales track record
  • Experience of IT outsourcing, vendor management and IT procurement
  • Deep knowledge in one or more industry sectors
  • Business administration or accounting knowledge (example: MBA, CA, CIMA)
  • Transaction experience
  • Ability to travel and work freely across the EU
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring or counselling colleagues
